Our
Senior High Bible Study meets each Wednesday at 7:00
pm at Pastor John's house, so let him know if you need
directions. Come on out!
The
Youth Choir rehearses at 4:30 pm every
Sunday in the sanctuary. This choir is open to
any Middle High or Senior High youth!
Summer
2008
Thirty-eight
of our youth will be participating in two mission trips
this summer:
Mission
Camp at Laurel Ridge will be June 29-July 4.
Twenty-seven youth and ten adults will be part of this
trip, and we will be helping families in need in the
areas of Ashe and Alleghany counties.
Our
Mission Trip to Nicaragua will be July
22-30. Eleven youth and nine adults will be participating
in this trip, and we will be helping in re-building
efforts in the area of Puerto Cabezas, following Hurricane
Felix last year. We will also be leading activities
for the youth of the area.
Laurel
Ridge Moravian Camp
New
Philadelphia will provide a $160 scholarship for any
of our church's youth who attend a week of Laurel Ridge's
summer camp.
